In association with Smarthomes, a comprehensive cabling infrastructure is installed as standard in each new home, which provides home owners with unrivalled access to a wide range of communication and entertainment services.

The system has been designed to be easy to use with all telephone, broadband and TV sockets individually numbered in each room and brought to a slim-line Central Communications hub. Say goodbye to the unsightly spectacle of cables tacked across skirting boards, this is one development with the future already in mind.

The services covered by the system include the following:

Telephones

Pre-connected telephone points in all main rooms provide full flexibility in how rooms are used and allows home owners connect or disconnect service to individual rooms, as required.

Broadband

Whether you study, work from home, use email, shop or bank on-line – computers and the internet have become a part of who we are and what we do. Provision for broadband is available in all main rooms, at the same time.

Home Office, PC Networking and Wireless Connectivity:

Working from home has never been easier, as the Smarthomes system allows you set up your home office in whatever room you choose. Cabling is pre-installed to support a secure home network so that printers and other devices can be shared throughout your new home. A wireless network can be installed seamlessly for added convenience and flexibility.

TV

All rooms are cabled to cater for TV, giving you the flexibility to access TV services wherever and whenever you wish. Provision for Sky and Sky+ has also been made possible.

Wall Mounted Plasma / LCD Screens and Home Cinema Surround Sound:

Your main living room is pre-cabled for Surround Sound and a wall mounted Plasma / LCD screen, bringing Home Cinema right into your living room. Now a quiet night in will have all the enjoyment of a good night out.

Central Music System

Cabling is provided in all rooms for a Central Audio System allowing you to install a central music system at any time in the future. Once installed the same music can be played throughout the home when entertaining, or you can choose to listen to different music, in different rooms, at the same time. An added benefit will be the ability to dock your iPod (or iPods) centrally, listen to it in any room with full artist, track and album display provided on keypads in each room separately.
